“Condo that exceeds expectations! From the moment we walked into the fresh, air conditioned condo and were met by the property manager with freshly made frozen margaritas and salsa and guacamole- we knew we had chosen the perfect vacation spot. Everything that is stated in the description is there- but more! The condo is gorgeous. The pictures can’t convey it. Having the golf cart to get around was wonderful. We’ve rented cars before in Punta Mita- and golf cart is the way to go. Marta, the housekeeper and cook, really made the stay feel like a vacation for everyone. She does an amazing job and makes everyone feel comfortable. A couple notes, the ocean area is rocky in front of the condo, so definitely bring water shoes if you want to paddle board etc. out front. The premier membership was a huge bonus. The Hacienda de Mita club next door is very nice, but very small. We really enjoyed Kapuri beach club. Gorgeous spot, excellent staff, and wonderful food and drink. Perfect spot to sunbathe and play in the ocean. The pools were sparkling clean as well. All in all a wonderful stay. This vacation was truly a vacation, and was the nicest place we’ve ever stayed (and we’ve stayed at a lot of rentals). Can’t wait to figure out a time to go back with friends.”

“Luxury Beach Getaway - 5 Stars!!!
I can’t say enough about how incredible this property was. The penthouse condo has panoramic views of the entire bay, and is literally steps from the beach. Its also right next to Punta Mita town (2 minute walk), where you can find some of the best restaurants around (Si Senor!). I took the golf cart around the entire Punta Mita property, and this is definitely the best location to stay at. The private cook (Marta) whips up some of the best authentic mexican food i have ever had - be sure to try the Chilaquiles! Whether you want to relax on the huge patio overlooking the bay, surf some of the best waves in Mexico, or play two Jack Nicklaus golf courses that are minutes away on the property, this condo has it all!! You also have access to a beach club on the ground floor with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, where i had a few too many pina coladas. The condo itself is clean and very comfortable. I will definitely be back!!!”

“One of the Best Vacations
Christine’s property, Hacienda de Mita PH 1-2, was absolutely wonderful. The pictures in fact don’t do the property justice. The location is ideal, within the gated community of Punta Mita, but easy access to the small town of Anclote, with its various restaurants. We have stayed in Punta Mita before (in the Las Palmas enclave on the golf course), but we enjoyed being on the ocean front - steps to the sand and beach for surfing and paddleboarding. The Premier Membership was fantastic and we visited all the beach clubs - Kupuri, Pacifico (formerly Residents Club), Sea Breeze Beach Club at St. Regis and Sufi. Our favorites were Kupui and Pacific. Martha our housekeeper/cook was wonderful and it was the best of both worlds - resort living with home cooked meals for breakfast and lunch, and dinners out at the numerous restaurants (we also had the private chef dinner 2 nights). Also, I would definitely recommend taking advantage of pre-arrival grocery shopping. Our family had one of our best vacations - everything was easy, simple and memorable. We will be back!”

“Perfect Beach Penthouse.
Our family of two adults and two children (10 & 12) had one of our best vacations at this wonderful condo. The location and view are outstanding. The dinning and coffee shop in town are just a short walk away through a gate. The unit itself is really perfect with all the amenities needed. Marta the housekeeper / chef is a fantastic cook and easy to have around. The premier membership that comes with the rental is great and the beach clubs you access to are outstanding. The concierge service was on the ball and added a lot of value to our trip. Truly wonderful vacation - we will be back!”

“Warm, inviting and easy!
Our family of five adults just enjoyed eight days in this beautiful beachfront villa. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to learn that it is even more spacious than depicted in the photos. It is very tastefully decorated in a minimal style that does not compete with the spectacular views from every window. The concierge team took very good care of us with great dining recommendations. At their suggestion we hired Isaac of West Coast Surf Academy to provide surf lessons throughout the week and he was fantastic for first timers as well as the more experienced. Seamless indoor-outdoor living experience, and the deck was our family’s hangout spot for coffee, cocktails and post-dinner card games. We would definitely rent this villa for a future family vacation.”

“Gorgeous Penthouse in Paradise.
Incredible girls trip - we loved every minute of our stay at Hacienda de Mita Penthouse! Christine was highly responsive to any questions or needs- especially given the uncertainty of Willa. The condo was spacious and beautifully decorated, and easily fit 5 of us. Marta took excellent care of us- making the most amazing meals and treats, and kept our condo spotless during our stay. We enjoyed coffee on our balcony watching the sunrise each morning and loved being so close to town. The golf cart was a fun, easy way to motor around to the other resorts, beach clubs and restaurants. Our service throughout the trip was first class, and the people from Punt Mita are so hospitable. A few trip highlights that were organized through our concierge included a snorkeling trip to the Marieta islands and a hiring private chef for dinner on our last night. We all agreed that we would stay here again- and it would be a perfect place for families as well. This was a super easy, relaxing, beautiful and memorable trip.”

The condo, chef/housekeeper, staff, view and location exceeded our expectations in every way. We were familiar with the Four Seasons development and this experience took it to the next level. Be sure to bring a sound machine app for roosters who wake up early. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful organizing our last minute trip that we can’t thank you enough. Looking forward to our next holiday with you!! Perfect for a family of 8!!”

Have stayed at HDM before in another unit and had a wonderful experience so the bar was set. This penthouse took the bar even higher! Great views and location. Unit is beautifully decorated and VERY clean. Martha does a great job and cooked some unbelievable meals while we were there. Very nice to have access to the units boogie boards and paddle boards as well. Hope to visit again!”

“Amazing beach front property in Punta Mita!
This was our first time using HomeAway and our first time in Punta Mita. We were looking for a place large enough to accommodate our family of 5 plus two additional friends for a total of 7. The process was very easy, and Christine the owner was very responsive. About 30 days prior to our arrival the concierge service contacted us to help with transportation, food menus and provided us with a food shopping list so that the condo was fully stocked when we arrived. When we arrived the condo was everything we hoped for and lived up to the photos! We were greeted by Shirley, our concierge and she showed us around and where to go for the golf cart, paddle boards, etc. The condo is beautifully decorated and perfectly maintained. The condo has amazing ocean views and a fully furnished patio. Included with the condo was daily house keeping service and preparation of breakfast and lunch. Martha is a fantastic cook and my whole family loved her cooking! She made the best tacos that we have ever had! All in all we had a wonderful vacation with great service and access to all of the best beach clubs. We would highly recommend it, and definitely plan to rent the same condo again in the near future.”

“Spectacular first class, safe, family vacation - simply the best - had a blast

This beautifully designed penthouse condo is in the best location in Punta Mita (better than staying at the Four Seasons, which we have done). Far exceeded our expectations. It has an incredible view overlooking one of the best surf breaks and the pool and beach club is right below. We used the SUP boards every day and even went golfing (fantastic course - no crowds at all). We really enjoyed walking into town for lunch and dinner (so convenient not having to drive). Sometimes we took the golf cart to cruise around for fun. Marta, the maid and cook, was awesome. She made us a great breakfast every morning as well as snacks and margaritas. My family and I have been on vacations all over the world and we like this place the BEST (we have been to Cabo San Lucas, all over Baja, Puerto Vallarta, Nueva Vallarta, Maui, Kauai, Costa Rica, Cancun and Playa Del Carmen). We had a blast going into Sayulita one night to shop and have dinner as well. It is a very authentic friendly town. We will be back soon. Thanks for a vacation we will never forget! ”

“Extremely Stoked in Punta Mita!

I’d only heard of Punta Mita, but never been there. Without a doubt, I will be back and will stay at this incredible Hacienda de Mita penthouse. For starters, the view is to die for. Like looking into a life size high definition TV screen. Water so blue, with perfect waves breaking below. The unit is very clean and Marta, the cook, makes fantastic food. I particularly enjoyed sipping tequila on the large, third story, ocean front balcony. The living areas are tastefully furnished, the bathrooms are beautiful and the beds very, very comfortable. This particular penthouse is also located near the gate which leads you outside the private, gated area to the town which houses several amazing, elegant restaurants located just above the sand. My favorites were “Si Señor” and The Blue Shrimp. The super fresh fish is to die for. But as good as the food is, the activities are even better. Golf at the Jack Nicklaus Punta Mita courses is spectacular. The owners of this unit have a Premier Membership, so their renters have access to the private golf club. I’ve played all over the world and these courses are world class. In addition to golf, the surfing is as good as it gets. Beginners can get their first taste of surfing at Stinky’s beach which is a very short walk (or paddle) away. (The unit comes complete with a few great stand up paddle boards which are great for paddling and surfing the awesome waves.) More advanced surfers can also have a great time at Stinky’s, but there are much bigger and powerful waves for experienced wave riders at numerous breaks close by. We hired a guide named Clemente to take us in his boat to a break called “The Cove” for some awesome surf in the warm ocean. All in all, this is a fantastic place! I will definitely be back. ”

“Best unit in Hacienda de Mita!

We’ve stayed in numerous units in Hacienda de Mita and this one is our favorite one. We took our 6 and 8 year old kids and staying here allowed us to go to the different beach clubs in the gates but also walk or take the golf cart to other public beaches like Stinkys, which is a super kid friendly spot. You get the best of all worlds with this unit with the privacy and services of being in the gates but with walking or golf cart access to all the great shops, restaurants, and people in town. Walking the beach home after dinner from town and kids looking for hermit crabs is pretty special! Concierge, in-house chef and cleaning services were all outstanding!”

“Great place.
The unit is great, clean, spacious, and very nice. The owners were very responsive and easy to deal with. Location is perfect, in my opinion; within the gates, but short walk to town, and directly in front of easy long board surf wave, but bring rock shoes, as the ocean is rocky and shallow here. Ana, the cook, is sweet and timely, and food was great.

“Perfect Vacation.
I recently stayed at this condo and had an amazing time. The property is unreal - stunning views, beautiful décor and everything you need to have a great vacation (pool, beach access, bikes, SUP boards, board games, golf cart, etc.). Ana, the housekeeper, made us delicious meals including breakfast burritos, pancakes, fresh ceviche, guacamole, fajitas, etc., and kept the condo in pristine condition. In addition, the manager of the property was extremely helpful, responsive and thorough. The condo has several books which contain information on activities (whale watching, zip lining, surfing lessons, tennis), beach club access, golf courses, spa treatments, restaurants, etc. The book not only contains comprehensive information, but includes the manager’s recommendations and favorite spots, which we closely followed and enjoyed. In addition to Wi-Fi, the condo also has a Sonos sound system, which includes an app that you can easily download and use to play music throughout. I would highly recommend and cannot wait to visit again!

“Truly Relaxing.
My wife, two-year-old and I loved every minute of our time together at Hacienda de Mita. The property is stunning and exactly as advertised, but it’s the housekeeper that sets this property apart from other rentals. She is quiet, helpful, hard-working and an excellent cook! If you feel like dining out, “Restaurant Row” is a short walk away and if you feel like eating or shopping at the St. Regis or Four Seasons, there’s a six passenger golf cart to whisk you away. Additionally, the amenities inside the condo are numerous and include Sonos, Wi-Fi, Dish Network, a personal computer, SUPs, high-end finishes and appliances, comfortable beds and bedding, filtered water and so much more. Further, the management company was responsive and extremely helpful before during and after our stay. There is no more luxurious, convenient or relaxing way to experience Punta de Mita.

“FAVORITE TRIP!
We were in awe of the condition of the condo and views as you walk into the living area and patio. Even better in person. It has gone through some decorating changes since the photos were taken but it was still just as beautiful. We have had several trips to Punta Mita and stayed at other condos in Hacienda, but was excited to finally stay in this condo because of its location. We loved being beach front and the convenience of being next to the beach club. It was easy and quick access to the surf out front of the condo. We could even watch our kids paddling and surfing from the patio of the condo. Other highlights were the bikes for riding around inside the compound. Ana, out housekeeper/cook, made great meals and snacks for us. The dinners in town were amazing and just a short walk from the condo. The only bad thing was leaving. We are looking forward to staying here again and for a longer stay.
